Originally from England, Julie has been professionally involved in the arts and crafts industry for almost 20 years as an award winning designer, author, product developer and consultant.  She enjoys all kinds of crafts  and has authored over 40 "how to" books on a wide variety of subjects, including Creative Lettering, Decorative Painting, Jewelry Making, Silk Ribbon Embroidery and lots more!

        For the past 13 years Julie has been a host for Scrapbook Memories TV show, now Scrapbook Soup, which is seen on public television stations across the United States and more recently on stations in Australia.

        In 1996 Julie and fellow designer, Jean Kievlan combined their talents for design and innovation to form Kievlan-McGuffee Design Services, Inc.  Since that time they have worked with many of the leading manufacturers in the Arts & Crafts Industry.  Each of them has been individually recognized by CHA as being one of the "brightest and best" in the industry.
